Artist Biography

Grim Salvo is a dark trap and experimental duo out of Portland, OR, made up of childhood friends SLEUTH and MOSSBACK. The two met growing up in Portland and eventually built a sound together that blends trap metal, grunge, and horror-infused aesthetics into something raw and distinctly their own. Both members are also part of the three-man production team Â³Â³marrow alongside audio engineer Jeremy Klein, giving Grim Salvo a tightly unified sound from the ground up. The name, as the duo has put it, was something they randomly made up but felt like it perfectly captured their purpose. Their 2022 project Mildred and the 2024 release VOIDSTâ˜…R have cemented them as one of the more compelling acts pushing the boundaries of the horrorcore and dark trap underground, with a growing fanbase that continues to expand through active touring across the US and Europe.
