Artist Biography

LuLuYam is a Florida-based rapper, producer, and visual artist carving out her own lane with a self-coined genre she calls Nightmare Pop. Blending hyperpop, hip-hop, and dark experimental sound design, her music is deeply personal, tackling mental illness, trauma, and the fractured inner self through a horror-tinged lens that is entirely her own. At the center of her work is Lucifer Lucifer, an ambitious multimedia project that ties her music to an original story and cast of characters set in a nightmare realm called the Nightmare. What began as a comic series has since evolved into a planned visual novel format, with LuLuYam building out a fully fleshed lore-driven universe alongside her discography. The project is entirely self-made, from the music and production to the artwork and character design. Managed by zombAe and fully independent, LuLuYam has built a dedicated fanbase drawn to the depth and cohesion of her creative world. One of the underground's most genuinely original voices.
