Artist Biography

Moonvampire is a darkwave and post-punk artist born November 3, 2003, out of Astana, Kazakhstan, building cinematic sonic universes from one of the more unexpected corners of the underground dark music scene. Deep basslines, ethereal synths, haunting vocals, and an atmosphere of melancholy and isolation define the project, drawing comparisons to classic acts in the darkwave and coldwave tradition while maintaining a sound that feels distinctly modern and personal. Since emerging in 2023, Moonvampire has been relentlessly prolific, dropping singles, EPs, and full-lengths at a pace that most artists half his age couldn't sustain. Highlights include the Weird Tales and Weird Tales V.II EPs (2024), the debut LP Bogema (2024), and the albums XXV and Eclipse in 2025, along with a steady stream of singles pushing well into 2026. His favorite of his own tracks is The Sky Full of Bats, which he describes as the most aesthetic song he has made.
